STIDUB - January 4th, 2009 at 09:26 PM

just when i was thinkin they need to be edited i scroll down to the next one & BAM there they are, nice work, i expected to see some pop-outs in it though...

kombibob - January 4th, 2009 at 09:30 PM

nice pics!
ha ha we have been meaning to do a photo shoot with the splits at that same spot between the ridge and sandgate.

jedidan - January 4th, 2009 at 10:46 PM

Hey thanks everyone - top comments !

Bond: yep, i know a bit late, but 914 chromies would have been my other choice...next tyre change, definately white walls !

STIDUB: ahhhh, funny you mention pop-outs - i did score a pair about a month ago.....haven't put 'em in yet....don't worry, not going to be my last photoshoot !

izac: thanks ! yeahhhh ! you gotta love photoshop...!

kombibob: sorry mate, didn't mean to beat you to the mark, but i reckon there are endless variations with photoshoots there - afternoons are best with the lighting - a pair of splitters
would look good at that spot !

cheers everyone

Daniel

cheers maaaaaate !

I had a feeling u were after a similiar look from one of ur other posts (wanting some bits section ?)

yeah, good luck with that..! Those Empis are striking and just finish the look nicely - would recommend them highly !

Was amazed on how many people prefer the slammed look - must be a current fashion trend, like the Rossi headlights were in the 80's :lol:

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE - January 8th, 2009 at 06:29 PM

I thought I knew the location!! I only live about a 2 minute drive from there(Stuff walking LOL) My old next door neighbour parkes his buses there or used to.

Might have to organise a Bracken Ridge/sandgate meet up as there is obviously a few of us up this way.....

Who likes Macca's/ Eagle boys/ Noodle Box????

65busser - January 8th, 2009 at 09:32 PM

Club rego here too. My weekly/fortnightly drive consists of a blast down norris onto telegraph to gateway mwy heading north, blast along gateway to Bracken ridge rd then off and 2 streets to home.

Finally,

Nice pics of your Beetle at the old servo...

I like those wheels....

but the front still needs to come down a bit
maybe 48mm...

You still want the shock absorbers and the torsion bars to work .. no Hard ride..

what shocks do you have on the front? Gas or oil
I tried Gas, but found they were too hard...
No shocks was like on a trampoline.. lol
[rough roads around here]

You beetle looks great from all angles...

LEE

Once i put my fat butt into the car it goes down about 2 inches anyway - so no need to lower

and once both my wife and i get in, she rides pretty low...

just unladened she goes skyward again....must be the new gas shocks.

thanks again for the comments - glad you could finally see the pics Lee :tu:
