Hi there, had a great day today, apart from weather being tops I got my internet back after five weeks and got my bug engine started! Very surprised at my first re-build attempt, needs tweeking but sounds good.

well done. Those hoses on engine. Are they home made repairs? I need to do something with mine on Kombi and Beetle.

Late reply, those hoses are new replacement, got 'em a while back while dollar was high from BFY, U.S.A. with other parts, easy shopping from the computor but I would'nt do it now!
