After checking the bantering and shi,,t talk I have decided to get in on it. Last week I finally got a Beetle back on the road after 10 years without ( marriage and kids) So here it is 64 Bahama Blue, it was given (yes given) to me by my brother as it was sitting and he didn't think that he would get to it anytime soon ( he still has a 56 sitting on a rack to do first) Originally from S.A with no modifications and only a doors shut metallic respray, It didn't need lifting off the pan and the job of rubbing the metallic began and took less that I expected I resprayed it in the orig blue and replaced the bits that were in need of attention. Gearbox came from mad Col and the engine is 1776cc. Anyways I've added a photo hope you like it, can't wait to strap the guts out of it at t'n't/dyno day coming up.
