i think the site for whitewalls is http://www.antiquetyres.com.au,  will be looking at a set my self when i eventually get my car:thumb

i will get a set of whitewalls but at a later date, for the moment i am just enjoying cruising in the car....at a later date i will do a complete restoration and then the whitewalls will go on....

From what I saw of the price on eBay, you got a very good buy.

We could almost start a " Grey Oval " club... good to see.

well mine isn't quite a sleeper yet as it is still original ,running 6v,original motor/box,semaphores...etc....but eventually it'll get there.....what engine you got in yours?

just an update with my oval,
got 12v conversion done.....still a couple of things to be finished as the right park light isn't working and the left semaphore is a bit bugged
and also got the car lowered
have ordered a set of chrome 356 replicas that should be here in a few weeks

Hey Lardo, by the sounds of it the mods he is doin would be easy enough to put back to standard so you could hardly call him a butcher. Everone should be able to do want they want to their cars without critisizm, after all its THEIR car!

thanks for backing me up, you actually said what i wanted but didn't as i didn't to offend anyone, as for mods you are right, it's only rims (356 replicas)with whitewalls, lowered the car a bit, put a hood jak for the summer heat and an antenna, and 12v conversion..... those aren't major mods???? or are they??? i like MY car the way it is and always will...
