I finished the revamp a couple of weeks ago and I was just looking through some old photos of the dub. Man it was a shitter! Had the 72 for a few
years now and it needed some lovin.Took it off the road for 9 months for the resto. Pretty much finished except for front chrome strips and maybe some
gravel guards on the back. Oh and some back seat belts just for the little people.
I found some early project scribblings on paper that read 8 weeks and $3000 budget. Ha lol hard!. 9 months and a budget three times that in in end.

Wow, great job and well worth all the extra effort, time and money in my opinion.
Well done, Kev
nice job.
Thanks for the really cool comments all
I honestly didn't think it would be such a big job. A lot of 2am'ers went into it. To quote the missus after I said one day during the build "A
less of a man would of given up by now". Her reply "yeah, and a less of a woman would of divorced you by now" lol.
Most of the jobs I had never done before so it was as much of a learning process . This site was invaluable to the completion of the dub. Hope to
meet some of you guys at Klubfest in a few weeks.
Brad.
that looks awesome Brad. nice colour, looks really crisp and clean... nice height too!
