17th birthday present
donovan - August 26th, 2009 at 06:29 AM

just thought id show some pics of my daughters (charlie) 17th birthday present. she worked out the colour scheme and interior herself, trying to keep it pretty standard looking but with a personal touch. didnt want it lowered with sexy wheels. has an honest 1500 motor and great brakes!! (still on her L plates):-)

by the way, this isnt the colour scheme she chose.
will add more pics shortly

donovan - August 26th, 2009 at 08:25 PM

got it registered in primer. made it so easy to get the rest sorted

donovan - August 26th, 2009 at 08:27 PM

painted

colonel mustard - August 26th, 2009 at 08:27 PM

Rego sticker - Color: Grey. :) Don't leave it outside with primer for too long... russt is not your friend.

colonel mustard - August 26th, 2009 at 08:29 PM

Ok.... well. I like the color Mate, Blue with White sides, offset nicely. Paint the rims the same color? Color matched Bumpers?? Looks great, someone is a lucky learner driver!

Looks ok, needs some fully sick 20s on it though, and drop it on its arse! ;)

beetleboy88 - August 30th, 2009 at 08:08 PM

almost the same look im going for! blue/white (R32 golf blue and campanella white....both modern VW colours in metallic) paint my wheels and chuck some whitewall flappers on the tyres ;)

Don't worry about the sexy wheels, but it would look good with a bit of a hit from the lowering stick.

Nice job just the same, colour combo & interior is pretty sweet.

Cheers
