My daily ride
dublover - October 29th, 2009 at 05:26 PM

Recently restored my 1976 beetle is my pride and joy. The only car I've ever driven since I got my L plates, easily the coolest thing in my day. I got this car from a lady in Goonellabah, if anyone knows who used to own this car I'd love to know as I've lost her contact details. The number plate is WPC 622 if anyone knows anything, I'd love to let her know that I've looked after it for her. Hope you guys like the look.

Hey, yeah sorry Dave she ain't no super but cheers for the comment. I'll try to post some more pics but I had trouble in the first place. Joel would it be possible to PM me their names, it was like 6 years ago and for the life of us we can't remember. She loved it and I just want to let her know that it's been looked after very well, it used to be her Dads' I remember her telling me that when he brought it home she hated the colour, but then fell in love. They're infectious little shits like that. I live outside Murwillumbah at a place called Chillingham so yeah not to far away from Lismore.

dublover - November 18th, 2009 at 01:09 PM

It's actually a pine board, but Joe Larkin makes the Balsa ones as well, for the pic the pine had the better colours. Yeah I wish it could stay on there all the time but at $3,500 a pop it's an expensive accessory. Cheers for the count Joel.
