During....when will it be finished?:bounce
Very nice!!! How long until we see it at an event? :thumb:thumb:thumb
Nice ute, love the colour. I noticed that you took the tray off, have you put a new one on yet? what are you replacing it with. Just curious as i just pulled the tray off my ute and im still to decide what to replace it with.
Shouldn't be too long. It is all but finished though I havn't a picture of it at present. Only the deck to go. Engine (Pobjoy 1380) already fitted. Brakes done. Seats done. Lining done (thanks to 242). Just killing me to get the deck done.
Your dads got great taste in cars:thumb Sweeet Ride

Benjamin
Welcome to the forum, Kombi Dad. I'm looking forward to see the finished product! :thumb
Ahhh, Kombi Dads are the best Keep us posted!!!!!
Orig colour-same as mine!
Beaut ute matey. :thumb Whats the plans for ride height? Slammed?
Steven
Thats right Geoden, do you still want the roof section u bought off me?
The colour is original. The paint identification label was still in the vehicle so a colour match was easy. The vehicle ride height will be standard unless I chnage my mind. The tray will be hardwood with a stainless edge. No gates at this stage as I just can't get them. I have thought of wooden gates but initially it will be a flat top. Getting it on the road is the current aim.
nice ute! i reckon leave it standard height, my 62 ute is standard height with ball joint beam i.r.s and 77kombi running gear and it is a very
practical every day ute, thats if you want to use your ute and have a good ride!
doing the tray would be a bastard of a job how r u gonna make another one?
