Sherbie-My 1971 Bug

Hi,
I found this site today & am just loving it! I thought I would share my bug "Sherbie" with you all.
She is the love of my life! I sold her in a moment of insanity 5 years ago I cried for days & never got over her. On christmas day 2009 I woke up
to my Sherbie sitting in my driveway. My husband found her for sale on eBay & brought her back for me. She had not changed a bit! Everything on
her was exactly the same as I had sold it as. Even still had my plates on it.Have put hours into polishing the mags & love heart tips since these
picture was taken. Sadly I don't think it was done in the 5 years she was gone.
I am enjoying looking around this site & seeing so many people who love their VeeDubs as much as I do!

She hasn't missed a beat yet so I am guessing she is happy to be home. I brought another Bug after Sherbie but it just wasn't the same so I sold it.
Sherbie certainly has a personality all her own. I even brought a brand new car after I sold Sherbie but still missed Sherbie so much I ended up
selling the new car too. It just feels right to have her back & finally I am happy! 
Yes, Hubby is an amazing man & very proud of himself right now for finding Sherbie & bringing her home..Even he is happy to have her back...I
am very lucky!

A little, I have spoken of it a couple of times but always find other stuff I want more.

Only 'true love' makes somebody polish mags and exhaust pipes for HOURS...
