I know about the heat issue in Oz, will be putting the grill back under the rear window, the last owner fitted the "VOLKSWAGEN" there for some crazy reason, I have stand offs for the summer here, but have my eye on an early cabriolet vented deck lid I have a filtered forced air system under the car, which feeds air into the fan shroud, an external oil filter and oil cooler system with a fan fitted also

waiting for a price from the company that is sending all my stuff

So as a 72 are you saying this is a Super??

did you consider selling it where you are, saving on shipping costs and getting a car here? there is plenty on the market for good price

spent too much time, money and hard work on this one getting it to how I want it

That looks like your typical 80's UK old skool resto, especially with the scripted air vents. In fact there is a forum called Back to the 80's that has a lot of info about these cars. Z
