Another Oval on the street, my 56
retroresto - September 24th, 2010 at 05:10 PM

After several months of long days and nights the oval is almost on the road. Pretty good car to start with but has seen a new front bulkhead and some other minor rust repair.
Cheers
Paul

That's an awesome looking oval mate.
Love the anthracite with the brms.
What are the specs? Is it "just" a restoration or have you modified it?

Cheers
Mike

Looks fantastic, well done.

This was the one that was found ready painted in a shed wasn't it?

Even if it was, nice job on finishing it off and bringing it back to life.

Sunset Garage - May 27th, 2011 at 07:29 PM

As with all the other comments, ditto for me. It looks awesome!

Is the paint 2k? I'm guessing it's had a lot of wet-sanding done. Looks really nice n' flat anyway, love not seeing that 2K peel. Easy enough to rub back Acrylic...2k is a freakin nightmare!

Credit to the paint & body work. Looks superb!
