Hi guys, new to the forum (and vw's) but you've probably seen the car around before. Ben has done a great job improving her and she just completed the journey from Sydney back to the Latrobe Valley, Victoria without missing a beat! Short term plans are to put her through a VIC road worthy, re-register and enjoy all of his hard work! Following that, I intend to continue on from where Ben left off and attend to the tired, noisy old split case transmission and tidy up the 6V wiring or possibly even a 12V conversion. I'm sure after owning her a while and spending some more time reading about the awesome cars I have already seen here on AVD, that list will grow!

Cheers

Yes really like that car glad you made it home safely. I think converting the bug to 12 volts is the way to go but only my opinion. Look forward to seeing more of your progress and welcome to the forum
