Hi all ... thought I would share some pics of my car... is it getting the once over ... new pans, rocker covers, steering box etc. etc. etc ... hoping it will be worth it once it hits the road ... not for the feint hearted!

Generally doesn't look to bad. (I know,I know....any thing looks good in pics)

Hi Mat ... will put up more pics of the offending bits today ...you are so right the pics look good ..I even sat and observed the boys putting in the new floor plates in bali ..pity they did not do the sills at the same time ...as you can see the car is very straight ..it is the most important unseen things that need doing right!
As discussed I have all the bits down to the bolts and fender welts etc. ......will keep you posted and we can catch up for that coffee maybe next week ...thanks for the reply .. it is going to be great .....I hope!

It's going to be a "back to metal" for me folks .....the amount of "bondo" used in my car is unreal ...... pics coming .... the positve side is I will know what I have got when it is all done ...it is the journey not the destination ...I keep telling myself this ... the journey .. the journey ... the journey ..

the TYPE 182 are very rare as not many were made...

compared to the type 181s LHD thing...

Hi Lee .. yep made in Mexico ..put together with spit and tequila ...funny thing is it is complianced as a 181 in Mexico even though it has always been a right hand drive ...go figure ..pics later today as the new floor goes in!
