Love it! You around one weekend soon for a cruise, bite to eat and some snaps?

Ps- 150 at the wheels or engine?

vvwbeetle - September 5th, 2011 at 07:30 PM

Hi Ollie,

Sure am around - thinking of heading up to Gosford this weekend (weather permitting) to trackside to meet some VW people on Sunday - also any excuse to go on the Old Pac Hwy I am there. not sure if I'll stay for lunch or not so if your up for the cruise that would be good - also great spot for some photo's up there.

Happy to meet up any other time as well - would be good to finally catch up.

150 at the wheels

vvwbeetle - September 5th, 2011 at 07:53 PM

I would like that Paul,

Maybe if you get some better pictures than I take with teh Iphone - I'm sure it s not hard.

Then maybe it might be on your fackbook page as VW of the day.

I know I still owe you a drive so it can help you with the engine choice for Rosie.

Hi Seb

As requested engine pics

Sorry not sure how to get them in the body of the reply only as attachments and then I have to resize them to be allowed (bummer)

SebastienPeek - September 15th, 2011 at 06:42 PM

And that kind sir, is a great looking engine bay!

So much attention to detail, really loving that.

MSD Ignition setup?

vvwbeetle - September 15th, 2011 at 07:19 PM

Thanks Seb.

Yes MSD. Inside the car the unit is under the back seat.

Paulc1964au - September 15th, 2011 at 07:28 PM

like the motor just posted it to my facebook engine album

Paulc1964au - September 15th, 2011 at 07:32 PM

BTW loved the sound of it on the dyno all going well mine will be there in 18 months

SebastienPeek - September 15th, 2011 at 09:18 PM

Yeah, I've been eying off an MSD Ignition setup, but currently deciding between a Compufire or MSD.

I just haven't been able to find any complete MSD Ignition setup kits, only individual parts and I don't know exactly what is needed for a complete system.

Keep on dubbin'
