Just got my old 69 beetle rego'd and rwc in last 4weeks to race at warwick.Budget was $5000 and i think i've done okay.I've called him CHISEL and
have been cruizing around redlands had stacks of waves ,kids doing the punch buggy thing and met the local PIZZA guy who's into vw's.
Is anyone driving up to warwick on fri 3oth?I live in thornlands cheers Terry
awesome good model the 69 then again I may be biased
G'day Terry, was nice meeting ya at Warwick watched you a couple
times doing the passes on the 1/8th mile, looked like alot of fun!
Sorry i didn't get to catch up with you again like discussed... the freak storm and cold kept Meg and myself busy working out comfort solutions and
having early nites (because bed was the only place out of the weather)
Your local anyway, will have to tee up for a cruise sometime.
Yeah G'day Chris,Had a fantastic weekend , just wish i did more racing but got a 12.9 sec run at 50 mph.I'm thinking BIGGER motor to keep up with the big boys. The weather was a little strange, i only packed 2 thin jumpers and wore them with 3 shirts under and was still freezing .I was lucky sleeping in the car ,anyway next year we should all camp togeather and talk veedub shit around the fire.Hope these photos work - 1st-campsite my car with Glen from Gladstone.and 2nd photo of a wicked looking baja in the show and shine.Cheers Terry
