just wanted to show everyone my new 58 beetle that i scored out of the QLD trading post 4 weeks ago.My other 58 is restored and registered but this guy is almost complete and virtually rust free.Ill hopefully get it running in the next couple of months so it should keep me pretty busy.

what size do the photos have to be to upload??i keep trying to upload pics but but it says that the attachments are to big but ive reduced it to 150k per attachment(low quality photo) and it still wont accept it.whats wrong???ps ive uploaded photos on here before 4 times this size.

was it a bargain? i saw a 58 or early 59 (big window semaphore) for sale here for 5500.

hi twoguns,i also really like the grey color,my restored 59 is actually painted in metalic silver and it looks great.This car was an absoulute bargain but i wont say what i payed cause someone else is trying to sell there 58 on this site also.believe it or not this car was in the trading post for 2 weeks before i spotted it and the owner said that nobody came out to see it??(lucky for me)but it was missing the front bumber,all the chrome strips(i just bought a nos set off ebay last week)semaphores and the running boards but besides that it was complete.im thinking of redoing the interior but i wont do a full resto on it.
