Well it has taken some time, effort and coin BUT I managed to get a RHD Manxter 2+2 all sorted in time for the Manx Club Fraser Island Trip.
It is on a BJ / IRS Semi Auto Pan and runs a Subaru Gears 5 speed Subaru Transmission with an EJ22 Engine. I am running 4 wheel disck brakes, 181
front end and Fox Shocks all round. It just got back from its first test drive which was a 1000km round trip to Fraser Island for a few days with the
Manx Club.
Over all I am very happy with the look and feel but as you may expect of a freshly built car it has some things to sort. The 5 Speed Transmission
worked without issue and Todd's new Ring and Pinions are awesome with no diff noise at all. The extra 50mm or so of ground clearance gotten due to
the Subaru Transmission is great off road.
Ride quality and noise must have been ok as my kid has no issues sleeping on the drive up from Brisbane or when driving through the inland tracks.
Well done Brad, huge job getting the buggy(s) imported, built, registered and running in such a short time. They look great & I look forward to seeing one in the flesh.
Thanks Matt, it was done with a lot of time and effort from a lot of people, I am just the luck one who gets to keep the keys
It's awesome to see one on an Australian beach! nice work
Great to see such a wonderful looking buggy and that the Subarugears 5 speed was to your satisfaction!
