I've started to give the Spyder replica a rebuild, starting with the Subaru engine and gearbox. This is what I'm heading for. The colour is not the usual silver as I wanted something different but still an original Porsche colour.

It will also have original style wide 5 alloy wheels with steel centers riveted in as per the original. New turbo and period interior. But good for 150MPH...:thumb

I've only had it to 210KPH (130MPH) so far....but that was shifting from 4th to 5th...yikes

When I built that site for him I had all sorts of interesting things on it. That is Daves true likeness by the way.

Its actually a mirror in that section of the screen and when the cursor runs over it the mirror activates showing the user a TRUE picture of thereself.

Project for tomorrow is to start the rotisserie so the body can be flipped 90deg for the under belly paint prep and painting.
I'm going to use 50 x 50 box section for the end posts with lockable casters.:alien

So we are Rotarsiory makin in the morning
