I didnt think that spats would sute a kombi, but they look sweet. :thumb I want a set. Where did they come from? How much?

helbus - August 16th, 2003 at 07:32 PM

There is a guy who goes around the swap meets down here. Melbourne.

Nick 0412 544 651

He can make them up for about $100

He also does Beetle and Type 3

I did a final fit, filed, puttied and painted them myself.

That looks so sweet just love the colours your older pics didn't do it justice.
Cool ride Nige:thumb

helbus - August 18th, 2003 at 01:05 PM

I reckon it would be nice to drop down a full 6 inches with an Indian lowering kit (beams plates etc.) But then I suppose steering would be affected a bit and the $880 cost for the kit and the time required are a little bit prohibitive at the moment.
Might try for 30 bags of cement laying in the back? :thumb

pyr0 - August 18th, 2003 at 04:52 PM

im in the proces of the indian auytomotive lowering at the moment and im doing the 4-6 :thumb :thumb ill post it up after she's done. (it has to go in on sta day 4 them to check it out)

byronbus - August 18th, 2003 at 11:54 PM

Nice work, looks great, needs the drop, try custom bugs and buses at penrith in NSW, they have lowering kits as well
