Started to peel back the layers of signs on the Panel.

The Chicken Bus sign was over the top of Carwash, then Tyres so I bit the bullet. Never was that keen on the chook anyway.

Looking good underneath, nearly done on passenger side. Will start soon on doors and drivers side.

I needed a friend for my 64 beetle
The more i dig the more I am finding out
The tyre place and carwash still exists at 55 Emily St Seymour (which is on the door)

Iam starting on the passenger side now

sofar so good, but attracting some strange cats...

Hi guys!

I owned this car about 5 - 6 years ago. I bought it sight unseen from a guy in Seymour and had it transported to Noosa where I lived at the time. I have some pics of it when I first bought it if you'd like to see them? I saw it on eBay not long ago, did you end up buying it?

Yep I bought the old girl and got it on the road

It has had some great work done already and I am slowly tidying up the body work

Would be great to find out more history

the carwash and tyre shop are still at address!

Update with sign stripped, stripes re touched and Main Roads Dept Green patched over lower quarter
