Thought I would share my latest addition to my VW family. It's on a boat on it's way over here now from the USA.
A '69 Squareback Panel Van originally from Norway then bought to the UK then taken to the USA & now will soon call Australia it's final home.
Plans are to drive it as a semi daily driver for a few years, while tinkering around with a few taste fully done custom mods. Long term plans are a
possible body off resto, see what happens. Either way it is going to be highly cherished.
If all goes to plan it will be on the road here in Brisbane mid February, 2012.
You are certainly one committed dubber.
And beaut car! Great to know oz will be the home to more great vws.

VERY nice....(rather jealous)...lol
Just got word that I should be taking delivery of this baby on the 27th January. Got a few various things to get done like seat belt compliance,
roadworthy & rego but should be at Dubs by the Pub on the 19th Feb. Very exciting !!
Very nice!!
OHH Man that is awesome!! I have a real soft spot for type 3 as i learnt to drive in one back in the early 90's and my DAD had 3 back in his home town of Barbados. Mate if you see a guy at Dubs with his jaw dragging on the ground looking at your square it's just me admiring!!
Looks like you're cornering the market on Type 3 Panel Vans........ very cool. Lets hope this one doesnt get windows.... :P

You'd more the likely have to get the panels made up. Shouldn't be too hard to done by a sheet metal worker

Nice one Clint - your toughest decision will soon be which one to actually drive!!

Picked up the Panel Van today, very stoked. Took it straight in to get compliant seat belts fitted. Next is RWC & go cruising. This is gonna be
fun. Got a few things I wanna do to it over the months ahead. Updates when they happen.
One thing I was really stoked on was that I got the Californian plates as well, will make for a nice souvenir.
F@%k that is just awesome!! Good to see it made it down here with no worries and does this mean it could be at dubs??
