This is my daily driver. Recently passed RW for another year (surprised me again) and came back from the paint shop today.

The interior will be next - new door cards, seats & carpets. By then the 1500 SP will need at least new rings and valve guides.

The gearbox is not too bad, no synchro on 2nd of course, but it double-shuffles fine. The clutch feels strong, but I'll get Con at VW Village to look at it when they do the top end.

I've put retractible belts and a CD player in it, but I want to keep it basically standard.

I love it to bits.
