Not to much I can say about it, but heres my first bug: a semi-restored 1967 Deluxe. I bought it off Mark (markusm) back in june. I bought it sight
unseen and had it shipped up to QLD and when it arrived it was just as Mark had described
So far I haven't done too much too the car, mainly just a new radio ( a US spec Sapphire 1) and US spec tail lights.
looks beautiful mate! whats your plans for her?
Man that is nice would love some more pics!
wow, what a fine example
best to leave it unmolested as it looks sweet as imo
not too many look like off the shelf nowadays
good score and good on mark for being up front
good story
Unfortunately its not going to stay quite as original as it is now. I'm gonna retrofit some '63 spec parts to it and then Herbie it. All the
original parts will be kept though so it will be able to be turned back into a '67 quite easily
Hopefully it will be ready for Dubs py the Pub next year.
The interior
Mucking around for 50 years of Bathurst
cool
it's yours have fun with whatever you do and enjoy
more pics when it done pls
Very sweet looking '67.
Cool Bathurst mock-up, do that instead of a Herbie....so 'done-before-a million-times'.
Starting to look more like a '63 now with the front indicators. And I'm off to see about the new interior and some paintwork tommorow,
After the rain a few weeks back I've been unable to get this horrid smell out of the car, so a new interior seems to be the way to go (as I was going to do it soon anyway, i'm not too fussed on the current interior even without the smell). I'm having the dash repainted, new carpets, door cards, seats and possibly headliner. In short, ithe inside will finally look as nice as the outside
Been a while since I put an updated photo of my car up, here is what it looks like now.
The best part I think is the body colour match fender beading, thanks to Jamie at Kustom Kombi for that
