Hi all, I've just joined the site, a friend just told me. and i am already finding it very useful. Its great to know there are so many VW lovers out
there and that this sort of site exists. I own a 1973 1700cc westfalia continental camper. From what i can gather it is a pretty rare bus here in
australia. It has had three owners and is still completely original including all fittings and the original services manual, delivery documentation,
service logs.....It has been kept in full service since day one. The original owners bought it Britain and then bought it here to australia many years
ago. Needless to say I love the Bus. Does anyone know of any other similar combis, i have only seen one other here in australia and it is even hard to
find a pic of one on the net. I am interested to know how many more are out there. It has a pop top that slants forward toward the front of the bus
(this was changed the folowing year, i think, to slant toward the back of the bus). Anyhow, if anyone knows anything about this model or has one or
knows someone with one it would be great to know
I have also recently moved to adelaide and i'm having some trouble with my gearbox. First gear jumping out at very low speeds. Can anyone suggest a
good place to check out for second hand or reco boxs or at least some info. Also looking for a heat exchanger
Hey Fella, Welcome aboard, would love to see some pics of your bus!
Cheers
Thanks man
