You need something like Adobe's Photoshop Elements, which allows you to create a GIF or PNG file with multiple frames. But remember, there's a 40 kb limit on avatars you post and use with us.

My avatar, Meebles, is 5.5 kb in size, so you can do a lot in a small amount of space.
