just bought a 1970 1500 beetle, second owner whom has had it since 1974 with full service history. Paint a little rough at the front however no rust anywhere except on front valance and of course bumpers. Hand brake is sticking a bit as it has been in storage since late 2010. All orig interior with spare set of orig keys, owners manual and venetian blind..the prev owner wont let me take it until he checks the brakes out for his own peace of mind..(!) how nice. Sold my last 1500 beetle ten years ago and regretted it, so now I cant wait to be back in the vw scene..its original clemintine orange, how hard will this be to try and get resprayed to match!
