Now living in Sydney and building a 74 super in the Adelaide hills with my son does have its distance challenges, but its coming along fine , parts are available east coast and i usually cross the border every couple of months to kick back and build the bug . Cheers

Thanks guys this is my third dub in 30 years but doing it up with my son makes it more special, old school and new mixed together, as both of us are mechanics we have some cool ideas , and myself living in Sydney its easy to source parts and courier them over we are trying our best to use old school parts only when it comes to mechanical we use more modern alternatives, ie ignition ,wiring , carbs , lighting etc ,

So how long you staying in Whyalla for?? Better look us up when you get here so we can check out your car. There are some nice cars here.

Just got back from SA , I've never seen snow but my god I could feel it there , think I've got pneumonia lol

My son and Daughter in law were here last week from Sydney and went home Sunday-pissed down with rain and freezing the whole time here- tells me today he's getting around there in shorts and T shirt-told him to stop pissing me off.Its bitterly cold and raining here still.

Saw some sun here yesterday, lasted 5 minutes. Our main streets like an icy wind tunnel at the moment. No snow yet but a couple of frosts. Not as bad as last year though.

There will be another car show at the beach for Fathers Day run by the Drag Club and the Muscle Car run will call in here for a Saturday overnight show. They will be at the Drag Strip again with many doing runs down the strip. It's some time in November

They usually come through here most years as well. Cool to see.
I'm putting together an idea for a BBQ/Picnic VW get together at Morgan for the 13th of September. Keep an eye out in Events 2015 for more details.

Ok after a few hair pulling weeks , Kim as we called her, is up and running , so how's that bbq idea coming along??
