Hi fellow veedubers...
My name is Julio and im a new member here, I'm 36yo and bought my 1st beetle in Brazil when i was 17. Its a 1961 model and i still have it back in Brazil.

I just purchased my 2nd Beetle yesterday (same day that my 1st son was born). Its a 1966 model with 42000 miles on the clock and it was sitting in a garage for the last 45 years.
logbook+vw booklet.
It needs a bit of work but its in very good condition (rust free) for its age.


The main job will be cleaning the tank+fuel line and brake system. Ill try to find some info but tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'm really excited to start this little project and to be a part of this group.

ill be posting a few photos as soon i figure out an easy way to do it
