I have the same question?

How do you mark them as read?:(

This one s#its me, too. Are there any options to how the new posts are indicated? I can't tell which ones I've read from the ones I haven't, and there is no way of knowing if a post has been added to either.

Still no Reply

I get grey envelopes everytime.

The orange envelopes are not allways new topics.

Does this make sense to anyone????

I think we'll mark this down to the 1.6 code base, and hang on til 1.8.

I'm sure 1.8 will do the dishes too.

So, in English, you're saying that it can't be fixed with the current version of the software, and we have to wait for the new version?

Buggy Boyz - September 11th, 2002 at 09:39 AM

that is correct I am currently to dumb to fix this problem so you will have to live qwith it till I get smarter, any help would be great so all you smart asses feel free to respond :o

Given an infinite bunch of monkeys, I'm sure I could implement the "Mark as read" functionality, but I'm simply too time poor to fix the problem.

Hopefully the 1.8 code which is supposedly around the corner will fix the problem. If it doesn't, we'll look at it then.

Anyway, if the automated method of determining if you've read a forum worked properly, I doubt there'd be a problem needing fixing.
