How do i close a poll?

i was jst wondering how to close a poll i have running in genral chat, id like to have this closed by friday the 3rd at 12am
and help apperciated and incase theres any confusion thats 12 at night.....i think its the one thats really late

Sorry for not replying earlier. The answer is you can't, as it requires locking a thread, which requires you to be a moderator.

If you need to do this in the future, the method is that you create a poll thread, and a discussion thread about the poll. When the poll is closed, a moderator will lock the thread.
