getting bigger pics on here
blutopless2 - July 19th, 2004 at 09:46 AM

here's the thing... i have downloaded pics from my camera to puter and used the software to change the image size to under 50kb so that i can post them on here.. but i cant seem to get them to be large in size for viewing... you almost need a freekin magnifying glass to see the damn things. is there a way to change the kb sizing of the picture without effecting the actual viewing size of the pic???

and while on the topic of posting pics... does anyone know how to post more than one pic per post... i have seen some people can do it but i cant..

Thanks.

A good image editing program (or even some cheap ones) should have an option to change the image quality without changing the size. JPEG or JPG format tends to give the best balance of size/quality for a given file size.

As for posting multiple pics, this was an option for a short time, but is currently only possible if you host the pics elsewhere on the web and link to them. Don't ask me how, I don't know, but I'm sure someone else can advise you on this. :)

thanks... is that pixel size you are talking about??? i have tried to reduce the number of pixels in the photol.... but this reduces the physical size also.... might have to have a bit more of a play with this stupid thing....

host them at a site called http://www.photobucket.com  then all you do is register then upload the photos to that site then edit them to the size you want then in your post you can cut and paste the [img] line under photos in your album to the post and then your pics are hosted off forum . I think thats all:D
