Hiya VW'bers,

Got myself a topless 74 'bug' and am looking at chopp'n off the 'window frames' on the front doors, if that makes n e sense!...lol Would appreciate N E feedback from those of u who've been there & done that, and of course suceeded as well. Would also appreciate any pics if possible!

Un4tuneately I haven't uploaded a pic of me bug yet, and will attempt it once i get a chance 2 wander the site sum more................Peace

I am in the same situation, with my 64
but I am having thoughts of maybe not cutting & just matt blacking the part of the door cause @ when it was on the road I had no draft or rain get in & that is handy in BALLARAT~ i was toying with the idea of making the top part of the doors re clip in & out & put rubbers in between. dont no!! all the best with yours~

had one that was chopped this way it had about 2 inches of the tops of the window channel at the front but that was all it didnt look good
