Can anyone tell me why my profile pic (avatar) has gone!!!!!???
Cheers N!
It's a bug in the new code. I'll need to write a program to convert everyone's avatars to something else.
Andrew
You can re-fix it yourself by going back to where you posted your avatar post, and re-doing the URL in your profile.
Andrew
Thanks Andrew! It seems to have fixed itself overnight, Unless you did it! hehe Thanks Bud!!!
Cheers N!
Yeah (Sheepish) I actually did it. There's only a small number of people (70 or so) with avatars done this way, so I just made sure they all
worked.
You're was unusual as it referenced a Macintosh path. That's hard to fathom.
Andrew
avators disappeared again
i swear all i did was change my signature in the profile, and i lost that nice green ragtop thats been next to my name
if you can fix it agin for me andrew, i swear i will never change my profile again!
btw, i tried to cut and paste the image url from the test it out section, but no good!
pic is still there... 100x 100....
thanks agian vanderaj
Re-fixed Golde60's, silver's, and Unity's profile pics.
There's got to be code around here that does bad things.
More torch work required, me thinks.
Andrew
promise i wont go into the profile area until you put away the gas axe and have finished re welding the code.
Mine has dissapeared now:cussing
Andrew - me 2
I cant get it to come back. When you get time can you do your kung foo thing on it for me ?
I would now like this one :thumb
Haven't had mine for weeks now:cry
Jen,
please e-mail me your profile pic. It's disappeared from the Test it Out here section.
Andrew
Fixed- the image was sorta small It was a low res image blown up to
800x600 or something. Don't worry, all fixed.
ummmmm the ones that were linked from the testing section arent working cos I deleted the posts. 7 pages of them. *ouch* *ouch * *ouch* STOP HITTING ME! I did ask before i started doing it. Anyhow if any non violent people are looking for me I will be hiding under my desk.
Don't worry - it had to be done - the old way didn't work any longer, and it's faster and less bandwidth intensive to do it the new
way.
