howdy all

Hi all

I've been lurking on and off this forum for a while now and decided its time to jump in and get serious (or mental - depends on your views).

Anyway, just as a quick intro - I know sweet f/a about VW's however I grew up not far from the Valla VW Spectacular so they have always been around in the background of my life. A family friend had a twin cab ute when I was a youngster but all I can remember was that it smelled funny (that might have been the driver, not the ute!)

Luckily, my 30's have allowed me to transform into a motoring photographer and I'm fortunate enough to include the likes of Volksworld and VW Trends as part of my client list (yes, I still no nothing about VWs).

A recent trip (my first driving a kombi camper) has convinced me to throw caution to the wind and start looking for a new 'ride' - the Telstar is on its last legs and I need something that's not only reliable but is practical for doing long trips as well. Hopefully the kombi will stand by me through thick & thin :)

Anyway enough of me prattling on, I'll let you know how I get on and I can't wait to experience more of the camaraderie that I've seen with fellow vee dubbers to date.

Thanks all and nice to meet you :)

WA's only advantage is a bit after midnight everyone else has passed out and just left us Perth folks alone on here!
