isolated...

:sandrine hello fellow veedubbers.. i am wondering how many of us are way out here in WA. I have been in Australia just over two years now, and this is my 1st beetle. But as i need to fix/replace things i realise just how isolated i am here and at the moment my beetle needs a little more lovin' then i can provide - i have had a terrible time finding a veedub specialist. Finally my neighbor reccomended one in freo, just in time. Cross your fingers for me that i dont need a new transmission , and it is just the (hard to reach oil) or the plastic bush on the gearshift under the coupling at the rear (as i read)

is there an ongoing thread just for western australia?

by the way i have a '63 beetle, and i live in the perth metro. my actual name is deana (dee_NAH)

later and let me know about you and your vw's

Do any of the WA-ers get together and organise trips away? South-west, up North or even across to the east for any big VW shows????
