Just joined up, thought I say a quick hi...
My name's Danny and I own a few VW's.
Some of you I might know already..
Here's a pic of my ride.. (well, one of them)

It's a '64 body on (I think we used) a '68 pan, modified a little, kombi box, mild t/p 1600, full cage, harnesses, type 3 trailing arms (reinforced) and rear drums, narrowed kombi axles, disc brake front end conversion, reset front and rear suspension, 4 inch body lift and lots of other goodies...
It's a lot of fun..

Yes, I am in Perth and hope to catch up with a member here, Baja WA, who might want to come off roading with a few of us..
Some of you Perth guys may have been on one of my runs in the past... We called them, "The Baja & Buggy Bash" and we did one day road trips to various locations from beach tracks to state forest and Rally Australia tracks..
These days I don't have a heap of time to put runs together due to being very busy running my own towing company, but every so often I head out with a mate of mine, (see pic below), and we manage a bit of dirt track adventuring..

Hey moose sorry I can't make it to the race this weekend. I forgot I have a bike race meet to shoot. Will keep an eye on the calendar and definately cover some future events!

Love the wheels. new myself (from the west). i own a 1960 baja that is sitting in my garage waiting for attention. I haven't registered her because the engine's decided to stop working and she doesn't seem very safe. I don't want to ever get rid of her and i don't know very much about her (i'm after any info: parts, good vw mech, future trips, tips). i'm thinking firstly i need to get the engine reconditioned again or buy a new one (close to 2 lt preferred). I have spent alot on her but am getting no where:o... help
