was wondering if there are any special sites/clubs/forums worth checking out for us west aussieveedubbers. I'm learning tonnes at this place but there must be more spots to snoop around. anything for a baja owner like mwa.

do some net surfing and who knows aht you'll find - local clubs :jesus

Only two local clubs - Volkswagen club of WA (lots of older members, hold the Day of the VW show every December) and No H20 (Mostly young guys, semi regular pub nights and a show in November).

Dont know of any local forums or anything though.

VWCWA hold a motorkhana every year - good fun if you are into it.

if you have the chance to get to Lancelin on boxing day and you don't mind taking you baja on the sand, a heap of us are going up to play in the dunes and along the beaches to wedge
