hello peoples i am new here and i have been offered a type 3 and came across this site while looking for info anything the enthuest here can help me with would be apreciated.

welcome, thats how i started at this forum but i was given a kombi, now i have a beetle and is nearly ready for the road,have had good advice and some laughs off of here, so dont hold back and start a posting

There are several rules to follow here:

The higher the number of posts you make the better, you don't get a high score of 6000 or more by just sitting around and lurking.

Dumb questions are welcome if asked the right way, the amount of advice and help available here is impressive.

Don't hang shit on other people's cars, it can cause offence and lead to flame wars, woken up moderators, and alcohol abuse.

Post pics, lotsa pics, some of us can't actually read so we come here for the pics.

Watch out for the type 3 crowd, they are a bit different to the beetle lovers and bus conductors. Nice boys really.

welcome... and nothing wrong with a bit of cross breeding I have an oval (all 5996 bits of it) and a type 3 square (thanks DaveB), that is hopefulyl going to be registered this afternoon


Take the type three, go on, you know you want it :P

As for questions and info ... ask away, and show lots of pics we seem to be visual rather than wordy...:duh
