Well it all started when a mechanic friend blew-up the steering pump in his Pajaro. I just happened to have a spare pump at home and now I have a 65
Baja. It is a bit sad but resirectable. The dub guy in bundy knows my car from two owners ago and although he can't rember the exact specs, he did
say it went about a 100ponies. What I can make out is twin port with duel 45mm DeLorto twin downers. The cam is rumered to resemble 8 ski jumps. The
problem is that the mechanic's dopey son left the dub out with no engine cover or aircleaners on. IT RAINED!! My boys and I dropped the motor today
and stripped her to the block. Full of water in the cylinders but noe in the sump. To my supprise It ain't to bad except #3. This one has evidence of
ring blow-by and heat mark on the gudgen. I recon we have about a years work in front of us. WE ARE GUNNA NEED HELP!!!
Cheers.
