Hey everybody my name is Andrew.
I live in Darwin, I own Two vw,s.First is a singal cab 71 kombi pick- up, Just re-painted it
in matt black 2-pak.Interior is a coustom mix purple with metalic fleck. And my other is as my logon suggests a 74 beetle.
Engine is type 1 case, forged 86mm scat crank,94mm barrels,corrillo rods.044 heads,48 ida webbers, 1 5/8" merged
racing header. 009 distributer with pertronix conversion, jacobs energy pak and matching ultra coil.Clutch I had made up at cbb in sydney, think his
name was mick, said would be more than up to the job of holding my engine so thats good enough for me.
plan on having the bug running for our next street meet in Darwin on the 29th of this month.I will keep everyone posted and I'll try and get some
pics up of my cars as well.

welcome to the house of fun
welcome
Glad your here!
Any piccy's of the single cab?
Rob...
welcome aboard
stuff the single cab show us some piccies of the donk in your 74 !!! sounds like a nice old school drag motor combo (reads like a DKP car from the
states, only I dont think they have any supers in their club) and would be a blast to drive.
What cam have you put in it ?
Have you lightened the 74 at all ? I have a 73, used to have a 67 and the weight difference between the two surprised me quite a bit.
Running standard tranny ?
Sounds like a whole barrel of fun.
hey Doug hows things.
Very old school motor, I honestly can't tell you exactly what sort of cam it is,but have had the engine running and seems to rev freely to eight-nine
grand! honest! scared shit out of me first time i drove it . ha ha ha
Ill try get pics up soon still trying to work out how to do that?
engine bays looking very nice now though, happy with how things have come up.
