Do Caravelle's with flat sixes count?
vas0809 - June 17th, 2005 at 10:17 PM

In my perusing of this forum, I haven't noticed too many Caravelles, if any for that matter, or is it just that I am getting to old.. or is it that water bottles don't count?

Anyway just saying Hi..

Don't worry, a few of us air coolers are turning to the dark side. We can revel in our waterfight.

What flat six do you have?

Thanks for the welcome..
it's a 3.4 out of a 2000 996, it took well over 6 months to get going, it was a mother of a job, should have got a 993 instead but they're poison.

I've also got a 76 crewcab with a tired old 3.0 litre which is now due for a rebuild and a 930 turbo upgrade..

Also got a 75 Microbus with a sunroof and 2.4 litre that is also very tired, that's why I did the caravelle...

Blah blah blah blah.... it just goes on and on

Welcome....

You should head for the conversion section...There you will find some equally twisted individuals....Myself included!

I have a T25 with an SVX EG33 engine in it.....There are some early conversion pics in there somewhere I think....
Its not to far from completion....Time to fit the harness and the fuel system and a few smaller things to do and its fire up time!

Sounds like your well into this conversion gig....Love to see the fruits of your automotive labour.
