Well, I've finally done it. I've finally got myself another beetle.

My first car was a VeeDub, a 1972 1300. but she was in a sad state of affairs and I sold her to the guy down the road who could give her the love and attention she needed. But I've been dying to get back into VW's ever since and today I finally have.

Picked up my 1971 S bug today after a nerve racking ebay auction. Shes going to be my project car, and its prolly going to take a few years to get some save enough money to do the resto but untill then, I can still play and tinker and sit in the garage making car noises.

Looking forward to racking everyones brains when i stuff up and maybe even contributing some day

Here are the pics from ebay, Havent had chance to take my own yet as by the time I got her home it was late and dark.... to much cruising haha!

there a few bumps and dents and a bit of rust in the usual places but nothing unsurmountable. At least not yet.. havent pulled it apart yet
