Hows it going down there?
Just want to say hi to you all in that sunshine.
How bigs the V-Dub scene down eunder? I should be moving over in a couple of years, gonna live at Wodonga, Vic. Was wondering whether to bring my
Samba over or sell it before I leave blighty and start again?
Are Samba's, Crew Crab's or Splitties easy to come by and what prices do you pay for a decent one or a rat one?
Where's a big V-Dub scene? Wodonga by any chance?
Be good to hear from you
Woody
definately bring your samba with you, won't find one over here in a hurry, or a crew cab. be good to bring some into australia
how ';bout you bring the samba with you. but sell it before you return.......
Oh mate. I plan to live with you guys, Why would I want to move back to drab uk?
Mate you wont want to move back thats for sure.
After moving here in 2002 I don't think i want to move back. It's great. UK seems different also when your only going back for a holiday and
catching up with mates. It's great. Or maybe thats just cos you have the return flight tickets in your pocket! And you know the sun is waiting when
you get back !
Defo keep your Samba.
I'm biased as i live on the Gold Coast QLD but. Don't know what it will be like in Wodonga, Vic. Sure some one on here will be able to fill you in.
There are some nice rides down in Vic.
Mate all the best with your move. Have you been to OZ before !! Or just jumping straight in !! It's kinda hard not to like this place.
Matt
Hi chappie
been over a couple of times before and brought an aussie gal back with me. Boy she looks after me but can't wait to move back so getting all sorted
ready for the big upheaval.
be good to make some aussie v-dub mates ahead of my move
hey there!...wodonga is a city/town on the border of nsw/victoria... its the size of a small city.....lotsa through traffic...you'd be livin on the
victoria side which means you'll have a cheaper time with rego.... I've lived in both states, and NSW tends to be a bit more expensive...... the VW
scene is pretty rockin in Victoria..... not sure about the VW scene in Wodonga..... from what I've seen going through, it seems to be a V8 muscle car
kinda scene.... good couple hours down the freeway and you're in Melbourne, which you'll love....
bring the samba over for sure.... I love a lot of the VW's you see on UK sites... seems to be a strong appreciation for that clean stock look
cheers
WWWhhoo Sounds more appealing all the time Guess everyone is teling me
to ship the bus out with me so it would be rude not to.
Wouldn't mind getting my hands on a crew can. Could always stick a big V8 in the back lol I think prices are more expensive over here for V-Dubs.
Samba's go from anything from £15k - £40k I suppose that will equate to $35k - $90k. Crew cabs are a bit less so if you know anyone selling one or
a Karmann Ghia???
