Deleting an attachment using the Edit function?

I'm fairly sure this is a problem which hasn't been covered yet... I have some posts with images attached, but the images are too large and take too long to download. How can I delete the image without deleting the whole post? I have already resized them, but don't know how to add or delete pictures from within the 'Edit' funtion. Any ideas anyone? Please?

Andrew, still no ability to edit pics in posts. I guess we wait for the 'real' 1.8?

Nah, there's a "hack" to do it. 1.8 final still wont have this feature. Consider 1.8 to be a bug fixarama rather than major new features.
