HELLO ALL. Yes, only two more sleeps. I will take possesion of my first beetle. A lovely old 63. Will need some love and attention as the motor has caught fire. Any suugestions of available help i.e. advise/parts/mechanical in the Maryborough area (near Hervey Bay/Fraser island) would be most appreciated. Even Brisbane is only 3 hours away. Look forward to talking with some of you over the next...well... rest of my life.

Thanks Johno, she has a 1600 currently and will wait to see extent of damage and if it can be recovered. Fingers crossed, if not, more fun to experience. Will post photos as soon as available.
