Hi There,

My name is Denise and I recently acquired a 1976 kombi. I say acquired, but it was really given to me by my father. He has driven Kombi's for 20 odd years and decided after following me up to Brisbane that he needed a car with aircon. Got his first speeding ticket in 15 years (apparently he can't tell the speed of the new one by the sound of the revs like the old Kombi)
Anyway, I will be posting from time to time to ask the experts how to keep the old girl in pristine condition - I took it to German moters up here and they said its in pretty good nick - but the interior is a bit tired. I would like to do the inside up when time and money allows...

I wouldn't say where experts, more like freaks. But there's a wealth of knowleage to be had at the touch of a keyboard.
