Heya Teya ;)

Welcome to the nut haus! Fill in your profile with your location and other stuff so ppl know where you are roughly - it'll be handy when you ask for help etc... If you wanna post pics up, you have to keep them under 50kb or you can link them to other sites such as photobucket.com..

any questions, just ask! There's a lot of codgers that will be more than willing to help

Cheers
Chris

Welcome Teya! There's a few Central Coast dubbers on here, and others not far away...

Keep Dec 10 (I think!) free - there's a cruise happening up your way

lol is a far shot dont forget.. as far as i know it needs ball joint fixings and cluch and new seats..
im taking her down to have it checked over for a pink slip just so we can see what we have to work on.. i was planing to fix it up in my own time but due to crashing our family car two days before i got the vw so now ill just have to fix her so we have a car to use.. but once we get a family car ill have my vw back to "play" with..

Don't worry it's still a vw and we don't care if it's in a need for some loven. Just bring her along as is then you can talk to all the vw people about what you are going to do to it and they can offer some advice if needed ive got worse and we take him on runs it's buz and he's very loved like all of them. He does look heaps better in the pics than in person. lol
Hope to see you soon and your dub.

Hi Teya,
welcome to the largest gathering of VW people in Australia...
and We all like helping New VW owners...
Luckily, VWs are about the cheapest car to fix...
although it can soon add up if lots of things need replacing...
Best of Luck
Lee

Rose,
is that an early 1960 Beetle??
still has the early pull door handles...
My father had a Late 1960 model back then and it had the push button door handles and blinkers...
and the very rare late 1960-61 blinkers...

cheers

Lee
