G'day

I've just resurrected a project I started 10 years back - my son wants to finish off my old '54 Type 1 / Subaru turbo project - and has roped me in to help. 10 years under a tarp has given us a couple of small rust repairs to do and we need to finish the wiring and plumbing, paint and interior. We'll post some pics at some stage.

This is one of 8 cars floating around the place - and a few of them have to go. The 73 Type 3 wagon will go, as will the Jensen Interceptor and the two Mercedes SECs - a 560 and a 500 (road car and parts car) - leaving two E34 BMs - a 535 manual and an M5. The daughter drives a Mazda 6.

What a fabulous resource this forum is - thanks folks.

Not me. That's just one that I've had for 20 years now - but it is certainly in better nick now than it was then.

Interesting to see this thread pop up again - I'm heading back to Winton with the M5 in a couple of weeks (assuming some new bits get here in time).
