My first car was a EJ station wagon, second was a '66 1500 Kombi, in '74, and before the age of the "company car", those strange smelling, sterile, production line heaps of plastic crap, I, with my wife we have owned a '58 beetle, a '69 beetle, a '70 fastback, a '73 Kombi and have just purchased, after the age of "company cars" a '69 1500 convertible, in the rust! Just straightened out the rear guards, resprayed them, re-rubbered, re-blinkered and re-attached. Now I'm hooked
