Hi ... just joining the forum as my wife and i have recently bought our first karmann ghia...a 63 coupe... is there any other KG owners out there?:rolleyes:

Welcome to the forum and congratualtions on your purchase. There are a few of us on here and there is even a ghia and type 3 section on here.

Where abouts are you from?

Look across to right hand side where it says you`re 'Logged in as....', click on and a info window drops down. Scroll down to 'Type 3 and Karmann Ghias'. Cheers and welcome.

Fairfield Showground, Smithfield Rd Prairiewood. Best get there i guess from 8 AM onward.

The actual event is undercover. Swap meet tables, sausage sizzle etc.

Yes. And whilst there are many other events throughout the year you`d be crazy NOT to miss this event.
